Linda Lapping and Roy Holman will teach and lead. Roy has led many retreats, in the North Cascades as well as in Mexico and Guatemala . Linda owns Heartbeat Yoga Studio in Kent . We are both trained and certified in the Viniyoga tradition, and we teach a body-friendly, heart centered, meditative flow yoga, gentle yet challenging and rewarding for every body. We include breathing (pranayama) and meditation / relaxation. We emphasize a strong connection between breath and movement.
We will do yoga each morning and afternoon. We will also include a workshop, a silent meditation walk, and other activities. We usually have between 12 and 15 people attend, a chance to make new friends and connect, but also quiet time to read, relax and rejuvenate. You are invited to do as many or as little as the classes and activities as fits you.
Retreats offer us a space, a break in the business and noise of our daily lives. In this space, we invite you to hold an intention and openness for shift and transformation. The world needs us all to show up alive and well, in the wholeness and truth of who we really are.
