October 10-14, 2012

Wednesday evening, Oct 10 to Sunday mid-day, Oct 14, 2012

Price: $550 includes all meals, classes, and double occupancy room

(we will find you a room-mate if you do not have one).

A special 5 day, 4 night retreat with Roy Holman, Stef Frenzl, and Mags Maclean. This will include yoga, meditation, breath, emotional integrity and integration, hikes, and exercises to awaken your deepest, most beautiful, joyful and passionate Self.  Price includes all organic meals, shared accommodations, sauna, and all classes and activities. Note: While this retreat includes yoga, it is less of a yoga retreat per se than an all inclusive retreat with many tools for connecting with and living from your authentic, beautiful, powerful self.

Skalitude Retreat Center is located in the beautiful Methow Valley. The name Skalitude comes from a Native Salish word that means 'to be in harmony with Nature'.

They provide solar powered facilities, healthy meals, double rooms, sacred yoga and meditation space, hiking and more.  Please see their web site at:  www.Skalitude.com   We’ll car pool up there Wednesday, or meet us there. The ride over from Seattle area is a wonderful part of the journey! We drive highway 2 through Leavenworthon the way out, and return via the beautiful North Cascades highway 20 (no traffic this way).

We will begin the weekend with a gentle stress releasing yoga class at 5:30 on Wednesday, followed by dinner, but if you cannot arrive until later that evening it is fine. We will finish by 1:00pm Sunday.

Roy Holman has led about 30 retreats, in the North Cascades as well as Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, and Sedona.  He is trained and 500 hour-certified in the viniyoga tradition, as well as meditation, healing and reflexology. He is also trained in India as a Oneness Blessing teacher. He teaches a body-friendly, heart centered, meditative flow yoga, as well as meditation and breath practices. He is author of healing Self, Healing Earth, and Poems from the Pasionate Heart.

Mags MacKean  Described by Adventurer Bear Grylls as, “quite simply, one of life’s braves,” Mags quit her successful BBC career to climb mountains. Many peaks and continents later, she faced her greatest fear: what happens when a life of goal-driven action stops? Her book, "Meetings On The Edge, A High Level Escape From Office Routine" charts her hapless adventures as she trades the office routine for the alpine heights. After a Maori man advised her that "the doing comes from the being...you have to know who you are first to know what to do next," she realised external changes would never heal her core unrest.

Since then, Mags has immersed in the traditional medicine practises of the Amazon and Andes, exploring the very different values of success and fulfilment. Mags teaches simple techniques to integrate the fullness of our humanity. She is passionate about supporting others to connect to the limitless territories within for healing, wisdom and perspective. She's also launched, "Dream Big", to empower young people as "today's dreamers, tomorrow's leaders". Core life skills - responsibility, communication and vision – are explored through a vibrant mix of dance, drama, discussion & rites of passage. www.magsmackean.com
