Green Retreats and Travels

Let's be honest: flying is not green! Flights are responsible for about 7% of global warming gases.We do try to travel consciously, and contribute about 5% of all profits to peace and environmental projects: Doctors without Borders, Rainforest Action, Sierra Club, and others to protect forests and indigenous rights.

   What a time to be alive!  As everything accelerates as we approach 2012 (the end of a world age in many traditions), it is a crucial time to let go of old concepts, patterns, and energies that resist or restrict this tremendous transition. Connect with the Earth, fear not, build community, and open the heart.  We are moving from the dark ages of duality to increasing unity consciousness. As Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez, head of the Mayan Council of Elders puts it:  "Do not be afraid.  Let the morning come. Let the dawn come. May the people find peace and be happy."
